These are less rules, and more guidelines. That said, you can still receive warns/bans for not following them.
While you're in game, you're expected to always be in-character. If you're not here to roleplay, you're in the wrong server.
Make sure you right click on your feet, and edit your bio. It should include apparent age, weight, height, and any unique features such as facial scars or accents.
Voice is enabled for emergencies only, not for primary RP. Stick with text as much as possible.
Keep a barrier between you and your character. Actions in IC are IC, and there's no reason to feel nasty at someone OOCly for it.
Small voids are generally allowed, like glitches, typos, or misinputs, but everything else requires admin approval.
If your character isn't 3-dimensional, with complex motivations and realistic emotional limits, then you might be in the wrong RP server.
Power-leveling, beelining to loot spawns, or doing impossible things (such as playing a guitar with one arm), and not RPing injuries is shitty RP, and not allowed.
Any /me actions you do, should make sense for your character. Success for actions against other players (like holding them down) is decided by the other player.
ERP and Torture scenes should be moved to DMs, so people don't walk up on it. You are allowed to reference these acts, as long as you don't go into detail. Triggering content, such as self-harm, sexual assault, or intense abuse, should be kept as private as possible. Suicide is exempt from this, given the setting of the world. Sexual abuse of children or animals is not allowed outside of backstories (which should be spoilered)
Consent is key here, any player that doesn't want to undertake dark things, such as torture, has a right to either skip the scene all together, or request an alternative that doesn't leave them feeling uncomfortable. Death or execution is not a valid alternative to a torture scene. If you feel a player is only enacting this rule to avoid consequences, you can seek an admin and we'll find a compromise together
Finally, any player without the 18+ tag is automatically excused from anything that can fall under Obscene RP. Those caught playing out these scenes with a minor (player) will receive bans depending on the severity and predatory nature of the RP, with tips sent to local law enforcement is needed.
Metagaming is when you make in-character use of knowledge that you have learned out of character
There's a million ways to metagame, both intentionally and accidentally, so try to do your part in avoiding the following behaviors:
-Streaming while in-game to other players
-Hanging out in VC while in a scene (deafen yourself)
-Discussing ongoing events in public
-Using shared screenshots to locate bases
